The International Islamic Fiqh Council, on the subject of financial markets and credit cards, issued a definitive ruling on non-covered credit cards as follows:

It is not permissible to subscribe to credit cards unless one is forced to do so, because this is a Riba-based contract, and Riba is Haram according to the Quran, Sunnah and scholarly consensus.

Based on this ruling, and to protect our brothers and sisters from falling in the Haram practices, the Islamic Foundation of Lincoln will not accept on-line donation using credit cards. Allah is good and does not accept anything but that which is good.
